Vacancy for Picture Framer

A vacancy has arisen for a full-time picture framer to help us fulfil the growing demand for custom frames and mounts ordered online.

An experienced framer would be preferred but we may also consider someone without experience with the necessary attributes to become fully trained in our state of the art workshops.

Main duties:

Production of frames and mounts for sale on the internet

Operating computerised mount cutting equipment, double mitre saw, electronic under pinner, glass cutting equipment and other specialised equipment

Updating the database throughout the day as orders progress.

Receiving goods inwards, taking to appropriate area of warehouse, booking into the system to update stock records, matching the stock received to those orders which awaited the stock.

Maintaining correct stock levels

Good working knowledge of our database will be required

Other duties:

You may be required to help in other departments such as packing to keep the flow of orders on target.

In the future you may be involved in the following -

Assisting customers with choice of framing.

Bespoke Mounting and framing pictures to customers’ specifications.

• Must be practical, with an enquiring mind
• Must be keen to learn
• Ability to speak to customers face to face and by phone and create the right impression

Qualifications required

GCSE Maths and English Grades A-C
